As a research assistant on the MORL, I perform high-complexity genetic testing on patient specimens for both the Genetic Hearing Loss and Renal Clinical teams, contributing to the genetic diagnosis of hearing loss and rare renal diseases. I am excited to continue developing my expertise in clinical genetics in an environment where cutting-edge research and patient care go hand in hand, directly impacting patients and their families, and I look forward to deepening my understanding of the genetic basis of these conditions.
