As a Research Assistant at the MORL, my current focus is the preparation of patient samples for functional testing. I use affinity chromatography to purify IgG proteins from patient serum, which are then used to detect autoantibodies associated with rare renal diseases. In the future, I plan to undertake additional testing and research projects to expand my understanding of the complement system.
