Growing up in Iowa City, I always dreamed of being able to work at the University of Iowa's hospital. I am fulfilling that dream as a research assistant on the Clinical Renal Functional team at MORL! I am currently responsible for preparing samples for further functional testing, whether that be through aliquoting samples into proper amounts or utilizing affinity chromatography to purify IgG proteins.  I am excited to continue to learn about the nature of renal diseases and the intricacies of the complement system.
