Growing up in Iowa City, I always dreamed of being able to work at the University of Iowa's hospital. I am fulfilling that dream as a research assistant. I currently supervise undergraduates on our Clinical Renal Functional team and perform functional testing on patient samples. I serve as the creative coordinator alongside Brady Comer, we work to make an engaging environment and humanize healthcare. I am excited to continue to learn about the nature of renal diseases and the intricacies of the complement system.
