As the Genetic Hearing Team Leader in the Clinical Diagnostics Division of the MORL I work in all the aspects of the hearing loss testing we offer, from test development, optimization, performance, analysis, results interpretation, and reporting. My favorite aspects of my work are thinking on ways to make our testing more efficient and interpreting tests results in the context of the patients’ phenotypes. I am also the MORL CLIA officer a role I enjoy very much because adhering to regulations and guidelines is an important element to offering excellent quality genetic testing.
